CAR WAXING
Waxing your car is one of the easiest and quickest ways to protect your car’s paintwork, as car wax not only makes the bodywork look spectacularly shiny, it also protects it from the external environmental impacts.
Waxing the car body creates a hydrophobic coating on the paint, which protects it from dirt adhering to the paint (bitumen, salts, bird droppings) and from damage caused by abrasive particles (sand).
According to their characteristics, car wrenches are available in several different types. Natural carnauba waxes, used in the summer season. Synthetic or polymer waxes suitable for the winter period and the longest lasting waxes, also called nanocoatings.
When waxing a car body, it is important to do this periodically to protect the car paint from the external environmental impacts and to keep it fresh for longer.
QUICK WAXING
Waxing your car with a quick waxer, as the name suggests, is a quick and inexpensive way to protect your car from the external environmental impacts.
Quick waxing uses liquid wax, which is much easier and faster to apply than hard waxes. Quick waxing involves washing the exterior of the car, then applying the wax.
It is recommended to do a quick waxing after each wash, as it is a fast-wearing wax. Regardless of the faster wear, it provides good enough protection and works in the same way as other waxes – protecting the car paint from scratches, salts, bitumen and dirt etching.
Wax, whether it is a quick wax or a hard wax, creates a hydrophobic coating on the car paint, which prevents bad substances from penetrating into the car paint. The wax creates a hydrophobic layer on the car, and water droplets roll off the car in balls, rather than drying to a blotchy consistency. The result is a clean and shiny car.
Tip: Any wax is better than no wax! Especially during the winter road salting season.
LONG LAST WAXING
Long last waxing is a waxing service that uses a hard wax, which takes a little longer to apply but has a longer lasting effect than a quick wax. The application of hard wax also requires a thorough external cleaning.
Hard waxes can be divided into two types: natural and synthetic. Natural carnauba waxes are more environmentally friendly and we recommend using them in summer. In winter, when carwashes need to use stronger detergents, synthetic or polymer waxes are more suitable, as they are much more resistant to strong detergents.
Depending on the frequency of washing and the strength of the detergents, natural car waxes last 3-6 months, synthetic car waxes 6-9 months. The more frequent the wash and the stronger the detergents, the faster the wax wears out.
Periodically waxing your car with a permanent wax is, in our opinion, a must, if you want to maintain its good looks and sales value if you should need to replace it. The aesthetics are also guaranteed, as waxing makes the car irresistibly shiny.
For information! Car wax must not be applied in sunlight!
NANO-PROTECTION
Nanoprotection is also a type of hard wax, but it is the most durable and best product in its category.
The secret to the durability of nanoprotection lies in the nanoparticles, which give the nanowax the highest adhesion to the surface of the car.
Nano-protection is extremely resistant to cleaning chemistry, meaning it can withstand significantly more wash cycles than other car waxes over the same period. Nano-protection makes the surface of the car water-repellent, which also makes car washing much easier, as dirt does not soak in as strongly.
Nanocoating your car is a good choice for car owners who want to drive worry-free for longer – nanoprotection lasts up to 12 months!
Important! No nanocoating can eliminate existing scratches. For best results, existing scratches must be removed first.
